Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. This site uses as few as possible: one that remembers your cookie choice, one that only appears if you sign in to the private admin area, and — when analytics are on — the cookies Microsoft Clarity needs to measure how pages are used. Analytics are on by default for visitors outside the EU/UK; EU/UK visitors are asked before they load.
| Name | Type | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
alvinla_consent | Essential | 12 months | Remembers your cookie choice (Accept/Decline) so the banner stops asking. |
alvinla_session | Essential | 30 days | Keeps the site owner signed in to the private admin area. It is never set for regular visitors and contains no personal information about you. |
_clck | Analytics | ~1 year | Microsoft Clarity — distinguishes returning browsers so sessions can be grouped. Only present while analytics are on (default outside the EU/UK; in the EU/UK, after “Accept”). |
_clsk | Analytics | ~1 day | Microsoft Clarity — ties page views together into a single session. Only present while analytics are on. |
MUID | Analytics | ~13 months | Set by Microsoft (on Microsoft’s own domain) to identify the browser for Clarity. Governed by Microsoft’s privacy statement. |
When analytics are on, Clarity records page interactions — clicks, scrolls, movement — as anonymized heatmaps and session recordings. Everything typed into fields is masked before it ever leaves your browser, and Clarity does not do advertising or cross-site tracking. If you opt out (or decline in the EU/UK), the Clarity script never loads at all.
